psycho: do you enjoy staying at hotels? any weird stories?

Yeah, I’m not much of travelling but I really like staying in hotels and something weird that happened once was when I went to another province to see a friend from Chile and I stayed in a hostal (one of those were you have to share kitchen with other people) it was a nice place but there was this couple, a man and a woman from the united states that always looked at the rest of the tenants over their shoulders, never talked with anyone and just rushed out of the kitchen if someone entered when they were there. The third night I stayed there I only heard that the police arrived and took them away at dawn, I never knew what happened.

carrie: how was high school for you? did you go to prom?

Where I live there is no proms, thank god. But yeah high school wasn’t great for me. Some kids tried to bully me when I entered because I didn’t like to talk much but sadly I was a really violent child. Back then I always reacted very violently to everything and that led people to push me away. It is understandable obviously, I went to therapy for several years to treat my outbursts of anger and luckily I improved a lot as the years went by.

It was defined as meaning frost by Thomas Blount in his Glossographia (1656-81), handily subtitled as a Dictionary Interpreting such Hard Words as are now used. The etymology is fairly clear, from the Latin noun for frost, gelecidium. Rather like the frost itself, the word soon disappeared.
