honestly i am so spoiled with grant gustin’s spectacular performance in cw’s the flash that i am just not feeling ezra. zack snyder says he didn’t think grant was a good fit but ???? flash is supposed to be comedic relief imo, he’s not supposed to be in the same ‘tone’ as batman and wonder woman. besides, if zack wants him to play flash differently than on cw’s show then he will. also audiences are already used to grant lmao. dc should take note of marvel’s shared tv/movie universe, it’s super cool and makes more sense
Honestly gonna go on a lil rant here but everyone is preaching about diversity in comics bc of the sudden influx of female and black heroes but??? A lot of the female heroes who are taking the mantle from male heroes are white, and when they're not white, they're black (bar amadeus cho, silk, america chavez, and ms marvel) and honestly u can't have black and white characters and say 'diversity!!! Yay!!!' when there's v little indians, pacific islanders, africans (not afro-american), latinx, filipinos, native peoples, arabs, vietnamese, chinese, japanese, korean, and many other ethnicities. Also you can't give a character light skin and 'chinky eyes' and claim 'diversity bc asian' ok there are more asians than just in china and japan and so many that don't have the stereotypical facial features or light skin. Don't get me wrong, I'm v excited for the increased diversity from white guys and we should celebrate the little victories, I just don't want people to accept the current canon as 'diverse' and just be happy w that bc there are millions of people who are still unrepresented ethnically and I'm sick of it. And tbh, as an addendum, i want more biracial characters, and not 'italian/irish' biracial ok like irish/filipino and indian/vietnamese, biracial like daisy johnson (aka quake)
