gem role ideas: gems that are in charge of managing a database of all information gems have ever learned, a biologist gem that learns everything about the life on a planet, a gem with the ability to see other locations(like gems that can see the future or past but instead just the present)

Hmm the first one would be applied to jades and azurites, but there are some data that would be kept secret from every gem. Some type of librarian gem.

That power seems too overpowered, it would make the surveillance based gems pretty useless >v<

Sketch Dump 1

So, I was gunna try to upload a page of one of my sketch books a day but, some of my pages had like, the smallest or most random doodles on them. So I decided to make a few sketch dumps! I’m going to try and post more. Even if they’re just sketches. I hope you like them.

From top left is Dragon Breath Opal, a little chibi concept I was working on, (below them) is Dragon and Sapphie, and a different version of a character named Alex, (below that) is doodles of some of my gems, and concepts for a peice of gem tech I had ideas for.

Hey, u saw someone mentioned gem managers and you said the the papagoute would be the water manager and stuff... what do you think the green/tech gem manager would be? Also, do U think that there are any gems that essentially function like code abs can travel through tech?

Ya I need to find a green or yellow gem who would be the manager of kindergarten based gems. And thats a cool idea! A code based gem that can tackle viruses.

Ok, so I’ve been deciding on my gem for Karkat in my Gemstuck au, and of course I immediately went with Bloodstone, and while I think it’s a good choice, he IS a mutant Limeblood, and Limebloods are hinted to have had calming abilities. I feel like it would make more sense for, in the case of Gemstuck, gems with calming abilities to be presumably wiped out instead of just one type of gem. So like, if anyone sees this, could you give some recommendations for a gem for Karkat? I generally want the color palette to stay as red and/or green, but like, greyscale things work as well. Thanks in advance!!
