Hey there, I’m Mod Bree ! I’m a dude and I’m the one who does most of the art for the comics. I’m also the character designer of most of the fusions you’ll see in it ! Cupric Sulfate and Pyrite are actually my gemsonas, and I always intended them to be 100% AU so there’s that. I enjoy Steven Universe because it’s an original and fun cartoon that doesn’t think its audience is stupid, and that’s pretty much all there is to me !

Hey there! My name’s Juliette, I’m a girl whose gemsona Pyrope features in Gemageddon! I sadly don’t do much, but I want to do my best to help. I’ll most likely suggest ideas and -try- to design fusions. I’m autistic (Asperger’s Syndrome), and Steven Universe made me discover one of my special interests : gemstones! Hello and welcome to Gemageddon! This post is here to make sure the most common questions are answered as well as clarify a few things.
What is this Tumblr for?
This blog is about a project made by three friends, based on the cartoon Steven Universe, created by Rebecca Sugar and airing on Cartoon Network since 2013. It garnered a huge following over the years.
Why Steven Universe?
Steven Universe is a show about a race of magical beings called Gems. Among other things, Gems possess the ability to fuse with each other, creating a new character with its own personality and design. The Steven Universe audience immediately took a liking to this, leading to many fan characters being created.
One of the best aspects of the fandom is certainly the way these fan characters can be fused together, making people contact each other and sharing their creativity. This is how Gemageddon started.
What is Gemageddon?
Gemageddon began as a simple idea that got more and more fleshed out as Steven Universe itself revealed pieces of lore and informations. The project ended up becoming this Tumblr, with what we hope will be a webcomic interlocked with written stories and maybe even more things.
Concerning the cartoon’s lore, Gemageddon is set in an alternate universe, but keeps many canon points in its continuity. The story does not follow the Crystal Gems, but you might spot some familiar faces here and there.
If you don’t mind getting spoiled or if you have finished watching Steven Universe, there is no danger awaiting you!
