Thinking out of the Box

I think any subject can lead to enlightenment if you follow it deep enough.  For example being gender fluid doesn’t seem to lend itself to enlightenment or spirituality.  But I find this subject takes me out of the realm of the intellectuals who only see their own thoughts and miss reality.

  I too see the same reality that I was culturally brought up to see, but when it gets too oppressive, another reality kicks in and brings me where my karma demands.  And since I try to keep my karma very clean I end up in a better place.

I’ve changed so much over a decade. Unrecognizable to the person I am today. I never thought this is where I would end up. But I am forever grateful for the choice of change. Never a day goes by that I regret the decision to live for me. That’s life though, we never know the destiny that is ahead of us… We just change with it’s direction. And conscious of self in mind.

Thank you for that bi Pearl post. So many people believe that Pearl is a canon lesbian and she's on the list of lesbian characters on Wikipedia (last time I checked was a while ago though) so I just assumed it was true. But now I know that no cast or crew member has ever explicitly said that she was a lesbian. I feel informed and totally love the bi/poly/pan Pearl headcanon. Again, thank you.

Hey, thank you so much for this, I really needed it! It’s pretty scary how Tumblr mob mentality has played out in this fandom, I had no idea where it was all coming from when the creators were doing the same thing as the shippers. Even the original fake tweet (unsurprisingly, posted by a harassment blog) was tagged #misinformation when it was posted. But yeah, and Rebecca and Ian both encouraged fans to see themselves in the characters. What the Crewniverse spoke out against is bullying, not shipping.
