I've had an AU where the Aladdin characters are in a 1950s-1960s sitcom. In my head, this show was a sort of spin off from another sitcom that involved Ja’maal(my OC) and Eden as a married couple and Genie was like a guest character that got really popular. So basically single dad of 4 boys Genie is having a lot of difficulties finding a wife or maintaining a girl after the first date. Not because any of the girls hate him, the opposite actually, it’s just that Genie didn’t feel a connection in that way. That is until another single dad and his daughter move in next door and falls head over heels for him. It basically documents him trying to impress Hamed with his kids helping out. He’s also gotta keep the whole I’m a jinni thing a secret and has to deal with Jasmine trying to figure out whether or not he is indeed a jinni. I think Samiah would be a reoccurring character as Genie’s advice bringer. We’d also have the people at Genie’s job. I’m debating on having Hamed also work there

Give him more of a challenge y’know. In that office scene you would have a lot of familiar characters like Iago, Isaías, etc.
