I actually imagine that her and Halima’s son’s(we’ll call him Henry for now) first interaction had them not know who the other was related to. So they had like a nice conversation up until he insults her dad.

A while ago, I said I would draw my EAH OC that’s supposed to be the Mayor of Hamelin. Since it is Class of Classics month I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to finally draw her

As you can see, Halima is Professor Piper's Mayor of Hamelin. She was originally a joke character because I thought the idea of the Mayor and Piper being classmates was hilarious. And she hasn't really evolved much ig? Like she technically doesn't have much depth
She's a very snobby, self centered rich person. The values her family has had since the beginning of time have always been to accumulate and keep as much money as humanly possible. It doesn't help with the Destiny System encouraging this mentality with their destiny being to withhold the money they had promised to the Piper
She was somewhat taught to care for her village but mainly to think about how it would affect her and her bottom line. You can probably take a guess that these values made it so that she wouldn't grow up with having much respect for the lower class. Less so for the Pied Pipers themselves. The Pipers kinda also trash talk about them to their children, but they were more subtle about it. The Mayors however are not subtle and just name drops them to their kids as a way to tell them they'll always be better than them.
So when Halima arrived to Ever After High, she was enraged at the fact she was roomed with her Pied Piper. What makes it worse(for her) that he was a wimpy, nerdy, awkward weirdo. They both tried to change their roommates but HM Grimm was very firm on keeping them as roommates. This is where Halima's #1 character trait is because they were able to be changed by the end of the first semester! Due to all the bullying Piper endured from her. She would have bullied him regardless since she's a rich mean girl and he's a nerd weirdo but them being roommates made it 100% worse. After getting switched, she does still bully him tho it becomes less extreme the more time goes by due to Piper hanging out with Cheshire and Badwolf and other people that wouldn't tolerate Halima's shenanigans
As a character, she can out on an innocent face but in reality she's very cruel and mean, and she never really matured out of this behavior. The design above is her as a teenager. I wanted her to have a businesswoman look. She's kinda of a girlboss with her scamming a guy out of his money yknow /j
But seriously, she does try to put on this aura of business even tho she's like 13 so that the other Royals can take her seriously. She is a Royal but she's not a royal. Kinda like Blondie but less extreme. Her main color is blue with her secondary being silver to contrast Piper's red and gold. Her belt is also a reference to real Coat of Arms of the real Hameln.
This is her in the current day. As a mother she is like her parents before her, instilling the classic family beliefs and just spoiling the shit out of her son. She is like the final boss of PTA moms. Which sucks so much for Piper cause he has to tolerate her obnoxious ass.
Her voice claim for both ages is Glinda but different Glindas. Her teenage self is Ariana's Glinda while her as an adult is Kristen's Glinda
Since it is Class of Classics Appreciation Month, I obviously had to do smth with Piper being my blorbo
I’ve always taken liberties with the canon of EAH and that’s gonna reflect a lot with my personal designs of the canon characters. I’ve been wanting to reimagine teenage Piper cause I don’t actually like his design all that much and I remembered I had free will. So I just made him alt because like you can’t just say he’s a rock guy and then not make him look like it as a teen 🙄
Anyways more to come maybe perhaps idk I have chronic fatigue so we’ll see
I thought of doing a silly crossover between the Pied Piper, Cinderella, and Alice because those are my three favorite fairytales and then it descended into being a general fairytale crossover

This is inspired by more of a feeling I got while reading different versions of the Pied Piper of Hamelin. The Pied Piper didn't really feel human. I mean most of the time, he's some guy that randomly shows up with no name and no place of origin, can control animals and humans through music, and can create magic portals to anywhere? Sounds like a supernatural creature to me. The Pied Piper felt more like a force of nature than a man and so I thought it would be fun if the Pipers were actually not human
Kinda like the Wonderlandians who are animals, they can go back and forth from human to tree spirit. They only really stay in their human forms because people kinda get weird about it so they just rather keep it private
This one needs quite a bit of explaining. I was just thinking about where the Storybook of Legends came from. I jokingly said that it must be smth of the devil and then I realized that it could be. So my hc is that the demons that made that mirror in Snow Queen were also the ones that made the Storybook of Legends. So signing it is kinda like partially selling your soul to the devil
Now how does it make sure you follow your destiny? Easy! It just brings you an immense amount of pain! When you sign, it’ll put like a little sigil that won’t go away until you’ve completed your destiny. And if you avoid it, it’ll bring you pain that intensifies the longer you try to stall it
So that’s what happened to Piper. It went on for about three days until he fainted and conceited to go to Hamelin. And now he had these little scars. They’re like the only things that’ll look like wood even when he looks human. Peak dad lore I think
