I drew all the Gold Saints + Odysseus from Next Dimension for funzies :D
And finally time has come! At last, but never least, we have the gold saints turn on becoming Percy Jackson titles. This was more funny in my head, but if I got a little smile out of someone I'm fine.
Classic Gold Saints if they were chapter titles in "Percy Jackson and the Olympians"
Aries Mu - I meet a mage in a sinister tower
Taurus Aldebaran - The giant bull-man is friendly
Gemini Saga - I get uncomfortable beating up a madman
Gemini/Sea Dragon Kanon - Wait, didn't you die?
Cancer Deathmask - A psychopath crab doesn't have limits, as I would find out
Leo Aiolia - From Leo to Leo, you need therapy
Virgo Shaka - The man closets to God is as despicable as one would be
Libra Dhoko - An old raising does strip tease during his fight
Scorpio Milo - Oh, there is a scorpion in the house, nothing much
Sagittarius Aiolos - To nobody's surprise, the dead man has a supreme testament
Capricorn Shura - Who let the british sword with the spanish goat?
Aquarius Camus - Honestly, Ganymede was cooler (no pun intended)
Pisces Aphrodite - Are you shure you're not a half-blood yourself?
BONUS:
Aries Shion - Yay! Another corpse to haunt the narrative!
Taurus Ox - The giant bull-man doesn't do much, but helps more than the gods have
Gemini Cain - For the first time in forever Cain isn't at fault for his brother's death
Gemini Abel - Who would have guessed the evil twin was Abel?
Cancer Deathtool - Gloria Gaynor would be proud of them! Or the other way around
Leo Kaiser - Having two lions in your house may not have many benefits, but it looks cool
Virgo Shijima - A silent monk saves my mother-in-law and somehow it's my fault
Scorpio Ecarlate - Invisible man is more visible than my mental stability
Sagittarius Gestalt - And his superpower was collective hysteria all along!
Capricorn Izo - A true samurai fights for Greece. . . Somehow
Aquarius Mystoria - Someone with a little common sense was found in this place. . . How come?
Pisces Cardinale - Why the fish grows plants?
Saint Seiya Awakening Chibi Sticker for Gemini Cain
Prompt 2 - Promise
So this is from my fic “Flowers bathed in blood” which was written with Saint Seiya Valentine’s 2026 in mind
———————-
Gestalt didn’t believe those rumors. In his opinion it was was just the very paranoid whispers of children who worried over the constant civil wars of the humans around the globe.
With the world constantly at war, Gestalt wasn’t surprised that many worried that a sealed god could be awakened thanks to meddling humans who do not know what they are doing.
Cain certainly shares that belief, of the high possibility of the humans’ wars accidentally awakening a sealed god or the warriors of a god deep in slumber.
“My brother said once that if the normal humans accidentally awaken a sealed or slumbering god because of their wars, then it’s their fault,” Cain had said once during a shared mission.
The bodies of the invading soldiers laid on the sand covered ground and Cain simply watched them with an unreadable expression in his eyes. None were mortally wounded, so their survival was still possible.
”That seems rather harsh,” Gestalt had replied. “It’s not as if they are doing it on purpose or purposefully seeking to awaken a possibly volatile deity,”
Cain had scoffed slightly at that. Then, almost as if involuntary, he had harshly walked over to the still body of one of the soldiers and lightly kicked it.
”Most of them are not looking for the ruined temples of deities whose worship has either dwindled or completing died out,” Gestalt amended. “But still, it’s in bad humor to treat a body so harshly,”
“There’s really only so much any of us can do for them when they themselves won’t listen to history and change,” Cain continued, looking up at the sky now. “Especially when our beloved goddess is still resting in Olympus, awaiting for her next reincarnation,”
“Athena can do nothing for them if they don’t take charge of their own fates,” Gestalt said. “And besides, fighting the holy wars to keep humanity alive is the only thing that can do anymore.”
”One day, the other gods will stop being a painful bother,” Cain seems to promise. Briefly, he did not look like himself but rather like his brother Abel.
Gestalt had not liked that.
”Do you truly believe that?” He had asked instead. “Or is it simply the hopes of someone born in an era without the goddes he worships?”
Cain returned to looking like himself. “…I…I do not know,” He had said quietly. “I suppose that hoping is all I can do,” His expression was distant even as he turned to face Gestalt. It was as if his mind was somewhere else. “Abel says it’s bad to hold onto such hopes, that it’s futile because it’s worthless and it’s only going to hurt more when things fall apart,”
Again with Abel.
”I think that you should hold onto your hope,” Gestalt replied. Cain had looked surprised at that, and finally he did not look as if he was far away despite how he was right in front of Gestalt. “Who knows, maybe one day it will come true and we can stop worrying over the gods that want to invalidate everyone’s lives and kill humanity to start over,”
”Shall I carry that hope on, and nurture it so I can pass it down to the future generations after me?” Cain asked softly. His expression was soft, and his golden eyes were gentle.
Briefly, Gestalt had been reminded of the gentleness of the silver-haired youth that Cain had been years ago gently holding Gestalt as he sobbed over his beloved horse —Tanya— that had died early in the morning.
Cain had held him close, and softly hummed an old lullaby. “My mother used to sing this to me and Abel whenever we were sad,” Cain had says of the song after, when Gestalt’s tears had dried up and they had gone inside to the temple of Gemini.
Abel had not liked seeing him inside the temple of the twins. Cain had said that he was possessive and territorial. “That’s simply the way he is,” Cain had remarked. “A bit prone to jealousy. He’s never liked sharing, even when we were in the orphanage,”
Still, Gestalt had not liked the idea of Abel chasing away anyone who came to the temple of Gemini to see Cain.
”Doesn’t it get lonely?” Gestalt had asked him once, a long time ago. They had still been hovering over the edge childhood and into adulthood. Gestalt was a year older than Cain (and Abel), but back when they were younger he certainly didn’t look the part. He was shorter, scrawnier, and more rough looking than the twins.
Back then, Gestalt had already learnt what the warmth of Cain’s comfort felt like. But he hadn’t learned how addictive the taste could be. Cain had always been kind in his manner, and Gestalt had clung especially hard onto the silver-haired boy after Tanya’s death.
”Sometimes,” Cain had admitted, quietly as he stared at the plain ceramic teapot. “But it’s not so bad. I have my twin brother, Abel. As long as I have him I’ll never be alone or lonely,” He had smiled fainting. “I am never lonely because my brother is always with me,”
Gestalt had believed him and yet not.
So he had decided to make a promise.
“I will make sure that you are never lonely!” Gestalt had vowed. “No matter how many years pass by, I will always come visit you to make sure that you are not lonely. I promise,”
Lil notes on the Next Dimension Gold Saints (because I liked them a lot)
(I underestimated them but they are still lowkey losers)
Shion: He’s a silly, and it’s sad he turned the way he did later
Ox: My man. One hell of a badass, 10/10 no notes.
Cain (and Abel): I like that Cain’s first reaction was “we’re a joke of the Gods” and Odysseus came in like “actually this is a treatable condition”. Saint Seiya logic treatment and condition, sure, but still.
DeathToll: Try to erase that, future anime adaptation! (Still mad for DeathMask sorry) but yeah they are so cool and chaotic. Also liked that it is unclear whether or not she can differentiate dead people from living ones.
Kaiser: I love him. Find it funny that 3 out of the 4 times shown Goldie didn’t fight back, while you still understand it’s not supposed to happen but it happened so hilarious to me.
Shijima: The GOAT. Do I really have to explain?
Dohko: Silly, funny, his asshole vibe stay immaculate through the centuries. Also tragic but let’s not talk about that.
Écarlate: Oh my boy, my heart. I’ve only had him for a few chapters but I’ll burn down stuffs for him. He deserved better.
Gestalt: One of the moment I really regretted how fast the pace of ND was. Since it’s really condensed, it makes his development look super rushed which is sad. Also does the ending means he went back as a centaur?
Izo: He is so dramatic I love him. Well he is not super dramatic, but he acts like it. 10/10 of a character, wished we saw more.
Mystoria: Wow, an actually effective Saint!!! Didn’t play nor joked around, did what he has to do, no fioritures. Bonus point for the Aquarius Pop QuizzTM.
Cardinale: Speedran the traitor-to-redeemed pipeline, must have made the Pope shat himself though. Also no development nor explanation on why does he have the Ariane Thread?
Odysseus: I love him i have no words. The caring paternal figure to the Golds the fan wanted Shion to be.
Conclusion: they are silly :3 let’s ignore the tragic part what tragic part they are alive and well no tragedy in sight
