Like obviously a 2 season anime can't expand like 6+ romance characters and theyre multiple different routes, but i just feel like it didn't make the characters "likeable" (as likeable as a dark romance LI can get). Especially since it was clear that they were trying to make Ayato end game but the entire time he was an ass

let me tell you being a guy who studies gender in a professional/academic capacity and reads a multitude of writings on gender will make you look at common tumblr gender theories and realize that either their reading comprehension is shot or they haven't actually read anything beyond skimming or secondhand anecdotes. and this is about many different groups. unfortunately anti-intellectualism is also so strong on this site that you will be chided and told that you're ignoring lived experience if you try to mention being. you know. an actual student of gender studies. ignore the fact that these writers also have lived experience and there is a lot of discussion and application of lived experience.

can you tell that i have been having a blast in my summer class so far and then had to see a couple of tumblr posts about gender and stop myself from saying something that would get me crucified.
