Why it ourple?
All the clear quartz voters are so confusing to my brain, because in like 1st grade (american /neg) we literally passed around Rose Quartz to learn about gemstones. Like she's the classic for me, not this clear quartz want to be. Any time I mention quartz it's always either very very low quality clear (as in isn't clear at all) or the most strikingly beautiful rose quartz that gets brought up and shown off. Vote Rose Quartz or at least think about it I guess, She is beauty and grace and doesn't deserve to be so far behind /neu /nf

Pls let literally any other quartz win than aura.... it's so pretty yes but you can't find it in nature. It's a regular natural quartz (like clear or rose) that's lab treated (typically with titanium) to get that holographic appearance.
Look clear quartz is timeless, also you get Herkimer diamonds from it. And smoky quartz has such a dark mystery feeling to it. Top tier truly. And citrine is such a good honey color! So pretty it's a birthstone! And amethyst is also classic (but it does not appear in the preliminaries) and it's also a birthstone. Ametrine has best of both worlds with a lovely lavender and honey bicolor.
The reason that amethyst isn't in the preliminaries is because the voters ruled that it should compete on its own. It's also my birthstone :)
