Personality
Griffin is seen as vain, flirty, and confident by an average person. He is extremely social and can be often found in parties where he tends to be very vocal by both personality and his body language. People don’t tend to like him very much as he is arrogant, and they find him annoying and judge him for being gay and hooking up with lots of guys (during the 90’s). Some people (Seven) have also thought of him twofaced and really at the point of life he did lie more than he tell the truth. Inside he is extremely insecure and constantly sad and lets his emotions get the best of him. People often think that Griffin is dumb as he is not academically very smart, but he knows how to read people and isn’t easily fooled. Through the changes in his life, it becomes clearer that he’s very fiery and strong and cares deeply for the people close to him.
Sense of humor: Witty
Character’s greatest joy in life: Cats, music, partying, intimate relationships, Seven loving him
Character’s greatest fear: his father
Why? William McAllister is not a very nice person and has traumatized Griffin since his childhood by not thinking that he’s good enough and constantly letting him know it. He was emotionally abusive towards both his wife and son and sometimes it got physical too. He was also a great part take in the reason why Griffin became a drug addict.
What single event would most throw this character’s life into complete turmoil? When he and Seven stopped being friends, When Sam got shot, hypothetically if something would to happen his mother or his cat.

Most ill at ease when: He is not taking his medications and when he’s abusing drugs

Depressed or sad when: Seven hurts him, he thinks Sam is dead, his father talks badly about him (honestly this guy is depressed? he’s sad most of the time)
Priorities: His mother, himself, his cat
If granted one wish, it would be: Being happy and saving all the cats in the world
Why? Because he doesn’t have a very happy life but he’d like to have one and because he loves cats

Greatest vulnerability or weakness: He hates himself

Minor accomplishment: getting used to not being wealthy, starting modeling
Past failures he/she would be embarrassed to have people know about: His whole life has been exploited by the media so there isn’t much that people would not already know
Character’s darkest secret:
-When he and Seven were 12, there was a fire he caused that almost killed Lorelai and he blamed it on Seven.
- The jumping incident

- Seven, later everyone else when he comes clean about it
- His parents, later Sam and Seven
Goals
Drives and motivations: his mother, his hurt
Immediate goals: he is trying to run the company of his father’s after he has “passed away” and get his family wealth back after losing everything
Long term goals: fixing things up with Seven
How the character plans to accomplish these goals: He tries his best with the company but as he has no experience and the company turns out to be a lot shadier than he thought, he is ultimately driven out. With Seven, he tries to show that he has regrets and that he has changed. Seducing him helped with the matter as well.
How other characters will be affected: Seven will eventually forgive him and Demo will run the company and try to fix it
Past
Hometown: New York

Family
Mother: Jacqueline McAllister née Monteill
Faceclaim: Helen McCrory
Relationship with her: They have always been close; she is his hero, and she loves him the way he is. She does let him hear it, when his behavior bothers her and she can be very demanding but in the end, she just wants her son to be happy.
Father: William McAllister
Faceclaim: Grant Show
Relationship with him: Oh boy. William has always demanded too much from Griffin and been disappointed at him. He wanted Griffin to be his heir but didn’t find him capable since very early on. He never shows him love or appreciation and through his teenage years, Griffin starts to despise him. It all changed for him when William got arrested after he got caught from many frauds and connections to the mob. While in prison it’s believed that William has killed himself and that’s where the setting of Griffins story starts. Later it is revealed that he was never actually dead and has been behind the *big plot*.
Brother: Brighton “Demo” Buttergood
Faceclaim: Daniel Sharman
Relationship with them:
Griffin didn’t know of Demo’s existence while growing up. The two meet and he gets to know Demo as his current boyfriend Sam’s ex. They don’t get along as he is actively trying to get Sam back and is rude to Griffin when Sam is not around to see. Sam learns soon the truth that Demo has been part of the *big plot* this whole time and it forces Demo to shoot him while Griffin is watching. Griffin believes that he has killed him.
This drives Griffin on a quest to get prove against Demo who is manipulating everyone to be even more against Griffin than they were before. Seven Austen is the only one to believe Griffin in the matter.
It takes a long time until Demo reveals to Griffin that he is his brother, an older son of William McAllister and he is actually the man that Demo has been working for all this time.
Eventually Demo sides against William and helps Griffin and the others in their fight against him. The two bond over time and start to see eye to eye and even become close.
Brother: Damien McAllister
When Griffin and Demo are on their 30’s, Damien shows up and they find out he is also their brother that William has forgot to mention. He and Damien don’t become that close, but he does start to see him as family eventually.
Love interests:
Theodore “Todd” Monroe
Todd and Griffin have had an on/off secret relationship ever since high school. Todd was never out of the closet and would say awful things about Griffin behind his back and sometimes to his face as well. During the relationship he was very possessive of Griffin and constantly blaming him for playing games with him (which let’s be fair, he sometimes was). They were not good for each other as the two also shared the problem with addiction since Griffin hooked Todd into drugs when they were in high school. Griffin cares for Todd but he was never really in love with him as his chosen one has always been Seven Austen, but Todd loved Griffin for real and was hurt by their relationship ending. When Griffin is doing badly, he often falls back into his old habits and Todd is certainly one of them.
Faceclaim: Froy Gutierrez
Samson Coleman:
Sam is a reporter who Griffin meets at a fancy party at the beginning of the story. They have instant connection, and they end up immediately spending 3 days together in Griffin’s apartment. All of it leads into a relationship quickly.
Sam is the first person who Griffin fully opens up to and the two fall in love. They break up for a short period of time when Sam has a decision to make between his job and Griffin when his boss wants him to write and awful article about him and Griffin finds out about the situation.
Griffin is hurt by the happening but eventually the two make up and Sam with the help of Landon manages to get Griffin to withdraw from his drug abuse. The two move in together.
Things get difficult for the pair again when Sam’s ex Demo Buttergood shows up to the picture. Demo is trying to destroy their relationship but is unsuccessful at it. It all goes down when Sam finds out that Demo is part of *the big plot* and Demo ends up shooting him, making Griffin believe he's dead.
Faceclaim: Charlie Rowe
Seven Austen:
Seven and Griffin were childhood best friends despite their mothers hating the idea. When Griffin accidentally caused a fire that almost cost Seven’s twin sister Lorelai her life, the two ended their friendship. Griffin, being scared of his father and people’s reaction blamed it on Seven, since Seven was always the troublemaker out of the two and Seven started to hate him.
The two were enemies all through high school though Griffin regretted his actions after losing him as a friend. Even while Seven hates him, the two banter a lot and have an obvious connection.
When the story starts, they’re only forced to see each other during social gatherings and Griffin tends to annoy Seven on purpose.
When Sam and Griffin break up the first time, he goes into a dark place and starts seeing his father’s ghost while he’s on drugs. Seven finds him on this state and helps him out and the next day the two end up hooking up the first time which causes Seven a big crisis and he is very conflicted about his feelings.
They can’t deny their feelings for long, but the two decide that it’s healthier for the both of them to call it quits while they still can.
When Sam is shot and thought dead, Seven feels for Griffin again and is on his side on the issue and they begin to build up a healthier relationship with each other which eventually leads up to them dating for real and later they get married and starts a family together.
