so, I’m pretty sure I’m demi-gender, but I don’t really feel comfortable saying I’m trans. Idk it just seems like there is an aspect of commitment to it, like a word that pins you into place. I don’t mind gender-queer because it feels more laid-back I guess. I’m not even sure I want to tell anyone in real life anyway because it won’t change what I’m called by them (I’m not asking that of them, I’m fine with how it is now) I’m used to being called a woman and I’m just like “You know what, that works I guess. I can’t really figure out what gender is and I feel fine with people calling me that.” I don’t even know if I can really be considered demi-gender since I only really identify with it because I just don’t really get gender? Like, when I try to think about it I get confused. I’ve always just kind of said whatever other people said theirs was and shrugged and went “Okay” never really thought about it in relation to myself until a few years ago, and since I felt fine with what people were and are calling me I figured “eh, it’s not that important, I have a confusing sexuality to figure out” (and I’m still not sure I got that right either. I feel like I got close to it but sometimes I doubt myself.) These things are just so confusing and people want word for it but I don’t know how to find mine. Every time I try to think about it I just get more confused. Like sexuality  is confusing too, for example, I think I’m on the ace spectrum but I know I feel into people sometimes. It just hasn’t happened much and almost every time it was someone I knew pretty well, there were two times it was a bit more distant (emotionally) but I still decently kew the people. I’m too tired right now to think about it and I might delete this later idk. 

Just, is it weird to prefer gender-queer instead of trans? To have one feel kind of bad when you use it on yourself I guess?

And, is it okay to just have like, a ballpark estement of what you are and not a pinned down one even after years of trying to figure out just what you are? With sexuality I just don’t have enough examples of me being attracted to people to really determine how it works. I’ve only had FOUR crushes on real people and I’m 24. How am I supposed to figure it out with that sample size?

I just want to call myself queer and be done with it, but people always want to know what kind. IF I KNEW WHAT KIND I WOULDN’T HAVE TO JUST USE QUEER!

I really need to sleep but it’s way too early for bed. My nightmares being worse haven’t helped. I really hope the refill of my anxiety medication gets here soon because I forgot how bad it was without it.
