genderfluid Volt headcanon
okay so i hc that when Volt appeared he identified as male but he always felt something was sort of off until he’s in the club one night talking to Lux, Kopi and some of the other ladies and Kopi is taking about her transition and how she is a woman and always felt like one. Lux then talks about themselves and how they prefer they/them pronouns and how they feel they’re just Lux. These conversations really resonated with Volt and later that night he asked Eddie.
“Do you think i’d be a pretty woman.” Eddie was taken aback and stared at Volt momentarily. Without missing a beat, he shrugged.
“Yeah, Volt. You would.”
A certain joy and validation he had never experienced spread through his heart and veins. This night changed things for Volt and he slowly started experimenting more with feminine clothes, makeup, nail polish, and labeled himself as genderfluid & started using all pronouns. Everyone was accepting of his new identity and happily obliged him.
