There are differences between the sexes, and these differences can have a beautiful meaning — a meaning that isn't some irrelevant fact about us but one that can inform and guide our lives.

Putting the product they're trying to sell aside, I think this is an interesting commercial because of what it's trying to say. Personally, as we move forward, woman are not saying "sorry" like they used to. Nor should they.
Speaking from personal experience with the woman in and around my life, they hardly apologize for anything. Some times they don't even apologize when the situation properly warrants one - goes to show you that modern woman can be as stubborn as men if not more so. Frankly, I don't think there's anything wrong with that; that is part of moving forward.
The only thing I would say isn't fair is when people in general (not just women) take something, anything, an emotion, a phrase, a gesture, to an irrational extreme, thereby taking offense to it (because of stereotypes and preconceived notions engrained in us). It is then that we add venom to a harmless bite and we lose the opportunity to learn and educate and we start fighting, swinging our fists blindly which no consideration for the person we're aiming at. Personally, I, with all my heart, believe that we are better than that. Personally, I think we should always aim to learn what we yet don't understand and share what we've learned with those that might not understand our point of views. Only then do I truly believe that we are moving forward and growing.
So I saw malificent tonight, and there was a little girl sitting behind my friend and I in the theater. So it was the scene in auroras bedroom where Prince Phillip tried to kiss aurora but failed, and when malificent kissed her forehead she awoke. When it happened and aurora woke up, the young girl said something to the effect of "she woke up because malificent truley loved her, she didn't need a man to kiss her". This is why things like representation matters. This is why conforming to old fashioned general roles is regressive. An eight or nine year old girl realises that there are more than one kind of love, and that a girl doesn't need a man for her story to be complete. An eight year old girl gets it more than most adults.
