I have difficulty saying things like âI love youâ, even when I really feel them.

[ text: Broder frĂĽn en annan moder ] Maybe we can go watch some of the parades, or perhaps attend some of the free concerts there are.
[ text: Broder frĂĽn en annan moder ] And eat cake, of course. But I think thatâs obvious.
[ text: Broder frĂĽn en annan moder ] Also you know what, I think we should also spend Midsommar together.

An Anticipated Visit
@generadingâ
That morning Ludwig had woken to a surge of excitement flooding his veins. In fact, it was so sudden that he felt the excitement before he remembered what he was looking forward to so much. There was someone visiting, someone he had heard about but had never met. The young German couldnât help but quiver under his blanket as he pictured this proud and dignified person, the kind that fill fairytales and defeat dragons. I wonder if heâs ever defeated a dragon, Ludwig thought, his eyes widening at the idea. How cool would that be!
Despite having already been walking for quite some time, Ludwig still struggled to drag his body from its static state of slumber and wake up his limbs. It didnât help that he typically woke up before sunrise, and thus lacked even the comfort of the sunâs warm light. There was even a patch on his floor that was bleached by the sun throughout the day, which, if he woke up a few hours later, would provide his toes with a gently heated and springy board. Instead, his feet hit the cold, hard ground, and he stumbled over to the door with a shy sense of curiosity guiding each footfall.
After getting dressed and properly ready, Ludwig practically trembled with excitement knowing that the Niklas that Gilbert spoke of so fondly would be coming soon. At the knocking of the door the small German perked up, his eyes widening as they sought out the door and imagined the figure behind it. Nevertheless, as his brother approached and took him along, he couldnât help but try to hide most of himself behind his brotherâs leg, his tiny fingers finding a way to hold onto the fabric of his trousers without inflicting any wrinkles on them. And as the door opened and the light fell on the exposed part of his face, he squinted before allowing himself to lay eyes on this notorious figure.

He flicked his cigarette with his index finger, narrowing his eyes as he looked to the man next to him. Gilbert was only here because Ludwig was sick and someone had to go as Germany to this meeting and Gilbert was still East Germany- but he really did not care to be here, nor did he care to be around so many unfriendly faces. Gilbert supposed there could be worse company to be around, Sweden and him hadnât talked much since before the last World War- not that Gilbert talked to many people in the first place.Â
âThis weather is shit,â Gilbert commented, in English with a heavy accent, as they hid from the rain by standing against the wall of the building where this dumb meeting was taking place. âBut I think you are used to shit weather in Sweden.âÂ

// thatâs more or less how Iâve seen it! a concept of a place and people who are susceptible to the same illnesses (genetic or otherwise) and injuries as humans but donât stay dead because theyâre annoying like that, and can suffer effects even after ârecoveringâ. I also think making them physically closer to humans gives them more space to develop into their own person as well, and not just limited to whatâs expected of their national identity in general, if that makes any sense
yeah same thatâs my line of thinking, theyâre like Humans Plus a little something extra. i really like the idea of them being able to die from stuff that would usually kill a human but then they just come back after like three days partially because i think the idea of waking up in a morgue like âah, fuck, this againâ is extremely funnyÂ
and yeah same! i like to be able to develop them as people on their own as well. thatâs why i like doing AUs so much because it lets you really get a reign on their personality by going âok how would they act in this situationâÂ

1. this isnt necessarily a Relationship Headcanon per se but its what immediately leapt into my mind first: one time sea said the phrase âall mens rattatasâ within earshot of viktor and vik just LOST his fucking mindÂ
2. sea easily talks enough for the both of them so when they do chill in person mostly sea just talks about whatever he wants, and waits for ber to nod or something and then heâll talk some more for another 15 minutes all by himself just fineÂ
3. the two of them working together can build a nice looking bookcase in 30 minutes or lessÂ
4. this is kind of sappy but the fact that ber can have lived the type of existence that he has and still be genuinely caring and kind really relieves seaâs anxiety re: the longer the live the meaner you get. because for a long time he just kind of assumed that for beings with mostly-immortality, becoming gloomy and pessimistic and mean was basically inevitable, and mostly just a matter of When. but with ber being how he is, itâs kind of a relief, like âoh ok maybe my personality wonât change against my will after all. existing is fine actuallyâÂ

There were a few good solid moments where she just fussed with her hair, for once though it was less for style and more for convenience. It didnât need to look pretty, it just needed to be off her neck and out of her face, so even knotting it was not above her. And without her wrist full of hair ties, thatâs just what she went for. Well, thatâs a mess for later. It was in her nature however, that when done, she caught that his attention was on her, thought two and two didnât quite click to her. To be completely honest, anything to do with her neck, wasnât quite there as something she thought of.
With a short turn to fully face him now, her words came next. âIs there something there? Donât tell me itâs one of those mystery bruises or something...?â
