Lars pulled his legs up on the couch in an attempt to warm his feet as his hands warmed up due to the mug. Moments like this were nice, where they could simply be in the same room and have small talk. It made the taller blonde really satisfied with his roommate, thankful he got appointed a room with someone who seemed to think like him. 

“Me, a barista?” A humorous chuckle escaped him. “If it earns money making coffee, perhaps I have found my calling.” 

Setting down his coffee Lars found himself smiling more often ever since he started sharing the room with Björn during the first year. Carefully navigating around the Swede, Lars went to get his own laptop from his room and a pair of socks. “You playing as Sweden again? How about we try diplomatic game for once, it’s been a while since we tried that?”

“Well, that’s what a barista does.” Björn answered, the softest of chuckles escaping him. He kept on typing his essay, looking over at his books a few times as he worked. 

Luckily, he was a very efficient man - he knew how to organise his time, and he had already done most of the planning for the essay. He wrote a basic structure with the topics he’d talk about in each section and some questions that had to be answered. That way, he was way faster when it came to actually typing and finishing the work.

“Of course. Sounds good. But, you should know you’re going to end up crushed. If I win, I’m going to blast the Carolus Rex album on the speakers. Do you want to risk it?”

All throughout the meeting, Hui Fang found it hard to concentrate. Valentine’s is one of her favourite holidays, it always was, but for the first time in a long time, she found it really hard to concentrate. She wanted to do something for someone, something special.

But it was hard!

She always made her own pink chocolate for anyone who was nice and kind to her, so how does she make something special for someone else! How do you do that! She spent the whole night agonizing over it, but she did manage to come up with the perfect solution.

Before the meeting, she gave everyone except Björn their chocolates. The reactions were really funny too! That southern Italian lady looked pretty confused and she didn’t seem too impressed, the danish lady gave her the biggest hug as a thank you (she even lifted her off her feet! That’s always fun!), and everyone seemed really thankful. But, she avoided the Swede.

So, when the meeting wrapped up, she quickly got up and dashed over to him. She grabbed his sleeve, and lightly tugged on it. She was looking exceptionally cute today since she took the time to make sure to doll herself up properly and look as pink and as soft as possible.

“Hello! Can you spare me a minute?”

Hui Fang was not the only one in the room that found it hard to concentrate. Björn was struggling as well, as he tried to come up with ways in which he could approach Hui Fang. It was hard, because whenever he did, it was to talk about any game they both played - Animal Crossing, usually. 

But now, he wished to talk about something that had absolutely nothing to do with games, and he had no clue how to start a proper conversation with her.

He had also seen everyone with chocolates, except him. Was something wrong? Why didn’t he get any? Had he said or done something that had bothered her? Did she consider that getting her the Switch had been too much?

Björn was just scared he had crossed a line and made a mistake he wouldn’t able to fix.

Once the meeting ended, he was putting his laptop in his bag when he felt someone tug on his suit. He turned around and, at the sight of Hui Fang, he seemed to freeze, like a computer program. She was looking so cute, and he was just wearing his usual suit and his blue tie...

“Hm? Sure. I wanted to talk to you too. But you go first.” He mumbled nervously.

          He’s digging through his cabinets, but he’s doing in such a freaing sloooow and sleepy way. That’s what a Game of Thrones marathon will do to you.

          “Uuuuugh, I’m feeling lazy!” he calls out over his shoulder. “Would dino mac and cheese be alright?”

Björn can barely keep his eyes open. He hasn’t been this sleepy in ages. Lazily rubbing his eyes before putting his glasses back on, he stands up and makes his way towards the kitchen.

“Mac and cheese is fine by me. Do you need any help?”

Hui Fang was intently staring at their chat. She was biting her lip as she watched the three dots dance around the screen, disappear, appear once more, dance, disappear… what a cruel routine! Her heart was beating perhaps a bit too fast, so she was worried this will all give her a heart attack.

When he finally replied she stared at the short sentence trying so desperately to figure it out. Aw jeeez… [ text:  bear boy ] oh [ text:  bear boy ] well [ text:  bear boy ] Thanks!!! [ text:  bear boy ]  You are the sweetest!!! I will make sure to gift you a lot of peaches when the game comes ou [ snap:  bear boy ] 

Ah. Hui Fang didn’t seem to give it much thought, which was good. But then again, one never truly knew through texting. Well - Björn didn’t really know in person either, because he was just terrible at interpreting some people.

He couldn’t say he hadn’t blushed at her gif. It was really cute, and he would send one back if he wasn’t that shy. What a shame.
