General bio:
Although she grew up in the Dragon Lands with both her parents, Jasmine always felt different than her peers, seeing that she didn’t know anyone else who looked like she did. Her peers being full dragons and her only being part dragon naturally left her feeling a little bit different. Even when she would occasionally visit Canterlot, where her Dad was originally from, she was even teased a lot by unicorns growing up. So she tended to keep mostly to herself. Ponies and other creatures continued to give her strange looks even as she got older, she had very few friends growing up because of her trust issues.
Curiosity got the best of them, and one day they decided that they wanted to find other unicorns and ponies that seemed to possess her magic abilities, so when they were old enough they decided to set out on their own and find a new place to live and study the pony species, and wound up in Ponyville, where all kinds of creatures lived.
They can be a little bit rough around the edges and can tend to be mostly grumpy and nobody really understands why. The truth is that they tend to just mostly keep to themselves because of their past. If anyone got on their bad side, all they needed to do was just give them a look, and they’d know when to back off.
Relationships:
She had a very strong relationship with both of her parents growing up and she still does to this day even if her parents do annoy her sometimes. Her and Cocoa are very gentle with each other and she likes to bake and learn magic with him. If ever Jasmine has ever had a bad day, Cocoa will always be there to comfort his ‘Mini.’
Jasmine mostly goes to Turquoise for advice and wisdom. Her and her Mom are a little bit more rough-and-tumble together more than a cuddly relationship and often like to play-fight. If anyone would dare to hurt Jasmine, Turquoise would be there in a heartbeat to defend her.
Jasmine had one friend back in the Dragon Lands named Munchkin, but things ended on bad terms for them. So she just generally hangs around by herself in her new town with the occasional acquaintance or two when they don’t run away from her like she’s been sprayed by a skunk.
She also foalsits a little griffon she met on her travels named Gregory. He was always so fascinated by Jasmine and her abilities and every time he sees her he has a thousand questions to ask her. He is a bit of a social outcast with the other foals and griffons and because of that he spent most of his time just wandering around alone. Even though he annoyed her, Jasmine still decided to act as a sort of mentor/protector to him and would slash anyone who tried to hurt him.
Talent/Abilities:
Abilities: Jasmine can use magic for levitation, and light when it’s dark out, because of her being half dragon she isn’t able to cast spells like Cocoa or any of the other unicorns. She can also breathe fire and has sharp fangs. She can be very strong when she needs to be because of her dragon strength and agile because of her unicorn body, but she prefers to just lay around and take naps.
Talent: when Jasmine isn’t napping, she can be very clever most times. She has a passion for baking, but sometimes isn’t able to do it much because she foalsits. She uses her fire to add just the right amount of simmer to her toasted dishes to finish them off.
