The funniest thing to me about people having like... dicussions about TS2 premade characters like they're from established media with like a definite canon and fully fleshed out characters is that like, even with as LITTLE as we're given people are still like having fandom dramas about it.

Like discussing motivations and character interpretations for characters which exist primarily to teach game play mechanics and populate game worlds.

But I say all of this because I find the miku binder-ification of Buzz Grunt, middle aged military man, so very funny.

The grunt family, worst house to decorate, most fun family to make. now some basic info for the safe. General Buzz is lvl 10 in the militairy career has all his sims 2 skills. Only thing i made different from the sims 2 is the relationships he has with some people. He still hates Pollination 9 but since we dont have an one side system polli hates him too. fun fact since the general is level 10 militairy he has some militairy socials that fit perfect for how he treats his kids. Tank In sims 2 he doesn’t have any skills. which i found a bit weird seeing his upbringing so i gave him some fitness skills( around 5 to 7 skill points) to fit more with his story and upbringing. he still hates Johnny. the rest of his relationships i changed to fit the story better. the friendship with his dad is also two sided so his dad actually likes Tank now for a change. Ripp as with the rest he has te same skills as in sims 2. and i changed his relationships how i thought he would feel and see his family since i felt sims 2 didn’t do the story justice with the relationships. Ripp despises Tank and Generall Buzz. Tank for always hitting him and General for his upbringing. he is still friends with Buck, Johnny and Ophelia. Me making him despise his brother and dad also made that they despise him. Which i thought would also fit the story (I headcanon that General doesn’t really hate Ripp but despises his attitude and laziness which make them argue a lot.) Buck Since general Buzz doesn’t pay attention to his youngest (atleast thats what bucks bio says) i made him acquaintance to his dad. he is friends with Ripp and his relationship with Jill wil be liked. His relationship with Tank however is slightly in the red because i can’t imagine Tank only bullying one brother but both of them (and that may be the reason for Ripp and Buck are friends, since Ripp knows the struggle he helps his little bro out). He will have social skills (secret popularity token in sims 2 made me think he is quite an socializer unlike the rest of his family) and mental skills.

Tank, however, was the first one to go to college. If he hadn’t, he would have had to continue living at home or move into barracks, his boss would have been his dad - higher education was the only feasible way out of the trap of his life. The General allowed it because he got the scholarships and he figured maybe his boy could go ROTC and start life as an officer instead of as an enlisted man. The fact that Oasis Dormitory is painted a kind of pinkish purple, and the naked girl running down the street, give him a few second thoughts, but it’s too late now and Tank is free, free, free!
