IDK if anyone can help me find it, but I'm trying to find a D.Gray-Man fanfic I read years ago. I remember bits of it, but am drawing a blank atm so I wanna know if it rings any bells for others.

It's an OC fic, and iirc the OC is a girl with red hair that lives in a manor in the woods(?) and her Innocence ends up being her toy bow. I'm also pretty sure it's General Yeager that finds and teaches her.

IDK if she ended up paired with Allen or Lavi, but I'm pretty sure it was a romance with one of those two as the end game.

I think the OC ends up actually being Cross's daughter??? But never knew anything about it and it's only hinted at iirc. Again, it's been well over a decade since I've read this fic.

If anyone knows what fic I'm talking about, can you hmu????

We don't know a lot about Cloud Nyne as a character, but she strikes me as a reasonable, matter-of-fact lady who doesn't have time for Cross' nonsense. Which leads me to wonder why she even showed up here.

One can assume Cross told his attendants that he wanted to drink with Cloud, except she could have said no.

So I'm imagining what happened was Cross said he had an urgent message for her, the guards passed it along to Cloud while she was just sitting with the other Generals playing a quiet game of bridge or something, and she just had this jaded expression of, "This is probably a ruse, but I should probably go see what he wants on the very off chance it's not."
