Aaahhhh finally ! Here’s the General Hydra art masterpost!! My first ever homebrew monster race aaahhh ;; ! Two of these pieces are not mine- art credit to Kageyumi on dA. Her commissions here. She’s very very talented.
It’s taken me so long to get somewhere that I’m happy with his design. In early stages, Hydra was both a girl, and instead had 8 octopus arms instead of 4 human arms. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Colors where definitely the biggest challenge, but once I settled on his tendrils I knew I wanted to do a fake eye pattern and then the ball just started rolling after that, lol.
