Ngl General Shepherd is probably a bit abusive. And I kinda like that. NO I don't mean I'm tolerating abuse..what i mean is that he is like a little rough with his words, makes you cry, maybe raises his hand to hit you but never does. I love men like him who lean into their old little man self but still spoil you rotten

That bastard would hit the "about to smack you but doesn't", "yells at you really loudly and doesn't care about the neighbors hearing", and "slams the door and drives around to cool down combo", but the minute he comes back home to see you sobbing, a combination of you feeling really bad and just wondering if he'll get home safe cuz he's been gone for hours, he doesn't say anything, just takes you in his arms, despite your protests and your anger, and just holds you. He'll let you hurt him, slam your fist against his chest, let you cry into his arms a little. and because his momma, god rest her soul, didn't raise no bitch, he apologizes first. A lesson he learnt from the shitty household he was raised in.

He'll sleep on the couch if you want him to, do all the household work if you makes him, do anything just to see your smile again.

New headcanon!!!

General Shepherd had never tried asian food(particularly indian, korean and japanese) before his little wife came into his life! He was just too rigid (and a little racist maybe) to acknowledge how good their food is. He goes to new restaurants for the sake of his wife's happiness. He's taken aback by how good all the cuisines are but doesn't admit it. His wife is the type to take many pictures of the food, of them eating together and silly pictures of General Shepherd struggling with chopsticks 🥢

As time goes on, he finds himself more at these restaurants, sometimes even visiting secretly to eat the delicious food...that is until his wife catches him at her favourite restaurant when she is out with her girlfriends!!

Shepherd: "I don't know, I'm not a huge fan"

You: "Stop being a baby and try it"

Shepherd: "Fine." (takes a bite)

You: (looking expectantly)

Shepherd: (downing a glass of water)

You: Too spicy?

Shepherd: (nods)

You: (trades dishes because your tastes less spicy)

Shepherd: (doesn't say anything but eats the whole thing)
