So I’m out of theatre 💉 and everything went perfectly! My good friend Pablo the anaesthetist even got my line in first go, a rarity these days. Now I’m recovering with some IV pain relief, a cuppa and some malteasers ☕️🍫surrounded by an incredible team of nurses, and my wonderful carer Erica (this is her 4th Botox run!). Aaaaand we’re off! In the van 🚌 on our way to Neath Port-Talbot Hospital for my Botox in my bladder 💉!! Not many people get excited about having a general anaesthetic, having a machine breathe for you for a while, and having 300 Botox injections in their bladder... but I am 🙌🏻! Because I get to say goodbye to my bladder spasms and hello to a much better quality of life, with less pain, less spasms, and less risk of an arrest (the breathing/heart kind, not the jail kind!). Also, the staff at NPT Hospital are absolutely incredible, and have made such a tremendous effort to help me deal with my PTSD and make B Day a comfortable, and even enjoyable experience.
