every time I open Twitter, my For You serves me tweets wringing hands about what other character they'll kill in the rest of LVM or in TM9 because of Wilhand's death in the adaptation, and four out of five times, the pitches for who else might die is [character with a critical ongoing thematic or plot importance so killing them mid-series would collapse an entire subplot and a character arc]
like, I feel that people are severely overestimating Wilhand's material importance to the narrative and themes of the campaign that they're interpreting his death during the story instead of after in LVM as this huge radical bombshell change when it really isn't in the scheme of things. it's like killing Toya and Gustav.
