Oh well, at least I managed to re-write it from memory. I’ve learned to save my drafts in regular intervals now, so I shouldn’t make the same mistake again... but if I do, your advice should come in handy. We’ll see if it works then!

Didn't really mean to, but sat and read through Candy Tongue from start to finish. I *meant* to savour it and come back to it in bits and pieces but I guess I just got hooked. I could probably talk more about it but, limited time and I lack the words! I loved it though, honestly. Downloaded in order to read again later, even once it's gone. With this and Ace, you spoil us. <3

this is the first thing i’ve ever written where my primary intention wasn’t to be engaging, so the fact that it still is just thrills me. i wrote it as kind of an exercise in taking my time to make something beautiful. what came out was something very ugly, but in a good way i think.

Summary: When Hux complains about Ren’s destructive tendencies he expected Snoke to step in.  It never occurred to him that Snoke might delegate.  Hux is forced to face Ren down and order him to find another outlet for his temper.  Property destruction ceases but then random disturbances start to break out in the ranks all over the Finalizer, and after some sleuthing Hux discovers that Ren has taken a novel approach to anger management.
