Some beasties @moogleface rolled up with Humblebird’s Infinite Monsters!
A wizard created this gal for a freshman project and immediately “put her in storage” in a dungeon. She spends most of her time starving, but when someone enters her room she’ll eat them, and once her stomach is full she gets sad about how she doesn’t have any friends (because she keeps eating them).
Something or other from a different reality that showed up in the bowels of a fortress. Despite being unable to communicate, it seems to have a desire and aptitude for healing the injured and unwell, which is quite convenient for a military installation. Less conveniently, sometimes it disassembles people while they’re unconscious, so the garrison has come to let it do triage while keeping it away from the infirmary and barracks.
Self-aware rotting peppers that want to stave off oblivion as long as possible. To this end, they stun small animals with pepper spray and assimilate them into their own bodies. The Carolina Reaper of Theseus, you might say.
A sullen strider of the hill country that spends most of its time moping. When it sees travelers, it tends to mope aggressively at them, literally stinking up the area for a few hours. It eventually wanders off when it decides the traveler has an adequate appreciation for its suffering. Bandits in fragrant masks sometimes follow it to rob whoever it’s moping at.
