((It's largely this that's got the fandom upset.
Because apparently, for the 50th, Moffat has decided to go with the "Doctor kisses and probably shags Queen Elizabeth I" that was alluded to in The End of Time.
Some fans are upset because hey, what about Rose? Where is she in all of this? And a lot of others, like me, are just tired of the running gag that Ten slept with the Virgin Queen because it's ridiculously ooc for the Doctor, even with him going off the deep end. Plus, out of everything that Moffat could've continued, he chose that.
No classic Doctors, not really a celebration of the past actors, just an excuse to mess with the order of incarnations and show what happened with Queen Bess. At least, that's how it seems to be and a lot of people are really unhappy.
I'm just immensely disappointed and... gosh, I don't know. I was so excited for the 50th and this just puts a bad taste in my mouth. I'm hoping all the speculation is wrong and that it'll turn out okay, but I've learned not to get my hopes up. And it's sad.))
