Bitter mockery
Silent generation

Parody of a modern time,
When just to see the sun,
Friends step outside and
👫
Sit. Headphones plugged
Earplugs stuck in ears, to
Listen to the music of our
🎧
Lonely nights. And not a
Word we speak, sitting in
The sunlight as if to prove
🌞
We don’t live digitally. And
All the while we scim our
Social media we never do
📱
Speak, nor do we look In-
Side each other’s eyes. I
Don’t understand. Did you
👁
Not miss my face? Did I not
miss your eyes? And whilst
Not one sole word is spoken
💀
A long term friendship dies.
