A close-knit collective, the cats of TalusClan thrive in the inhospitable slopes, relying on a solid foundation of community and teamwork built over countless generations. But shadows weave through the stone forest, and for the first time in any cat's memory, TalusClan is facing a danger entirely unfamiliar.

This page documents the lives of my Generator Clan TalusClan, a solo Clan living in the stone spires of a tundra.
The world of TalusClan focuses mostly on internal and interpersonal conflict as opposed to external dangers. Death is minimal and violence even more so- angst is avoided in most scenarios, and I like a happy ending! I consider TalusClan to be a few notches past slice of life, with a wide scope encompassing every character in fairly equal measure as we explore their relationships and individual histories.
I try to be as faithful to the generator as possible, using all of the names and descriptions from the roster i was given and using the generator to create non-current characters, such as dead cats, exiles, and kittens who haven't been born yet! The exceptions to this are:
The name given doesn't fit with the setting. If I don't get something satisfactory with a non-allegiances character, I'll tweak their name to be more setting appropriate but have the same vibes. For example the name of the Clan itself was changed from AntelopeClan to TalusClan because cats living in an alpine tundra wouldn''t know what antelopes are, but they do know what talus slopes are! This is not a strict piece of worldbuilding because i don't want to torture myself.

FAQ
Where can I read the story in order?- You can't, at least not right now. The story isn't being told as a comic, more as a series of drawings and lore passages. Due to the non-narrative nature of the story, I doubt I'll ever tell it in a fully linear way, but as I draw and post more scenes I will compile them in chronological order in this pinned post!
Is this a Clangen blog?- Technically, in the sense that it's a generated Clan, but no- it is not made using the Clangen game. All I was given was a list of names and descriptions from this perchance generator. But it's the same general idea, and I consider us to be in the same category.
Why is this FAQ section so empty?- Because I can't think of any more questions right now. Please ask some if you have any! I'll be happy to tell you anything you want to know about this little world.
