Gene Wright / Kyran Scott - EarCinema
Following both independent success as separate artists, Gene Wright and Kyran Scott have merged their vision into an epic project entitled EarCinema. A concept album created to play as an independent film, a soundtrack for hip hop enthusiasts and film lovers everywhere.
When plotting the scope of this project, both artists envisioned a single story based upon the life of a dreamer and his of balancing the normal everyday life of work, love, passion and the pursuit of fulfilling his dream of an artist. “Hip Hop vs. Money” notes the beginning of the journey, it symbolizes the classic conflict of Art vs. Business. Songs such as “Nightlife” and “Saturday” takes the listener to the dreamers’ life of Friday Night to Saturday Afternoon. “I Need Love” and “Drumline” reflects the dreamers search for the perfect soul mate. “Take It All” and “Fearless” expresses the defining identity of our dreamer. “Dreams and Faith” reveals the secret and motivation behind the dreamer.
Musically, Gene Wright orchestrates a film noir scope to EarCinema. His background as a composer for Television and Film creates a beautiful story intertwined with wordplay and thought provoking lyrics by Kyran Scott. EarCinema is a daring leap forward. Classic Hip Hop with a Film Noir presence.
