3. "I am Dean Winchester's husband." (destiel, wc: 500) - “That’s it.”

4. four more hours (sastiel, wc: 1.3k) - Sam wakes up to a sensation of closeness, warmth, and the unfamiliar feeling of fingers stroking his hair - a combination that would’ve lulled him back to sleep immediately had a voice not interrupted his gentle reverie.

Holy heck I wanna hurt Optimus apparently.

I’m writing a few fics for ao3 lately and I say a few fics because I start one project then stupidly bounce to another. Now the issue arises that instead of doing the fluffy fantasy OP x reader, I’ve started work on this angsty gen fic with lots of major character deaths. It’s awful. RIP Optimus- I love him I swear.

1: What made you start writing fanfic? 

To be completely honest, I’ve been inventing fanfics for as long as I can remember. I’ve always loved making up stories involving my favourite characters – I remember making up stories about Littlefoot (the longneck cub from The Land Before Time), and I know I was around three years old when I had that obsession. Later, I would invent stories with my sister (in the evening when we were supposed to be sleeping, haha) featuring the Digimon Adventure cast, and as soon as I learnt how to write I would sometimes put something on paper. It was never an entire story, though.

If I have to pick a reason, I guess it would simply be that I grow to care a lot about fictional characters and I can’t let them go, I just want to see more of them.

In more recent times, I started writing for Hetalia because, in spite of the huge number of fics, I could hardly ever find something that satisfied my tastes. If I wanted to read something, I most likely had to write it myself, but I don’t know what actually pushed me to truly do it. I think it has something to do with the fact I found a great variety of interpretations in the Hetalia fandom, which made me less afraid of getting something wrong.

11: What kind of relationships are you most interested in writing?

Family or family-like (for example, somebody taking a younger person under his/her wing and coming to care for him/her as a younger sibling or even almost an adoptive child) relationships.

Fic Writers' Week Day 3 - Small But Mighty

Today is all about appreciation for new and underrated fics, and while as a reader unfortunately I don’t enough of a list to leave recommendations, as a writer I’d love to take the chance to highlight a couple of fics of mine!

I love Of Goggles and Wilting Flowers a lot - it’s very fun to write. Ever wanted to read an overly long origin story about Bodhi Rook? Well, you’re in the right place. It had only two chapters so far, but it’s planned to be a longfic by the time it’s over. Hopefully the project succeeds! Rogue One is a small fandom but I am in love with all the characters, sooo *shrugs into oblivion*

As for new fics, I literally just published My Dearest Boy today. If you like Hamilton, Lams, and letterfics, well, it’s the fic for you! [/shameless self advertising] It took forever to write, and it’s an attempt I still haven’t formed an opinion of, but I confess I am quite proud of it.

Okay, I started off reading fanfiction for the sole purpose of devouring slash up until recently have I only made an effort outside the "everyone is gay" bubble or the "character a basically hooks up with character b aaaaand that's the story" bubble. Now, not so tween anymore, I try scouring the fandoms I read from for gen fics (though I haven't strayed to the sci-fi genre yet) and so far it's been great. Though, it would be better if I get some recs too :D
