Since you really liked the idea of Furina as a researcher/scholar...During the 500 years she spent seeking a solution to the prophecy, Lady Furina studied every conceivable field in search of an answer; this even led her to take courses at the Akademiya, hoping to learn something from the land of Wisdom. Throughout that time, she attended classes remotely since she could not leave Fontaine, but now,freed from her role as Archon,she finds herself with more free time!!She decided it would be a great idea to experience the Akademiya in person; although she isn't technically registered as a student, she is permitted to attend lectures,after all, knowledge is a gift meant to be shared ✨🍃(though she will still have to take exams for the courses she attends(╥﹏╥)).
Meanwhile, Wanderer is happy to spend more time with Furina (even if the extra attention isn't exactly pleasant.such are the downsides of dating a star), and he takes great delight in rubbing it in Dottore's face that Furina is attending the very Akademiya that had expelled him in the first place😅
