This isn't a question about you but it is something I am curious about, what led you to choose that hey doctor doctor song for your genius game animatic?
uhhh thats a great question!! trying to logic it backwards 2 figure out why i did that it wasn’t really a conscious choice. I think i generally try to choose songs with the ‘voice’ of the character whose perspective its in. Also i projected a lot of envy (#myenvy) onto charlotte while watching genius game because we have some similar characteristics & thats what i do with my faves <3
So! hey doctor doctor being about working through something that no one else really sees & ultimately coming to a point of acceptance where you’re like okay maybe my view of it doesn’t actually reflect reality seems on theme! And i guess what she’s working through would be hatred/jealousy of ken and her warped perception him bc he does really come off as sinister in the show (look its 90% projection okay). And then getting past that and being like oh actually this is just a guy who likes games & likes fun.
The ‘rain’ she’s seeing is Ken’s secret evil side. And the ‘sun’ everyone else describes him as is his innocent demeanor and they’re all falling for it!! Except for her she can read whats underneath. But turns out ultimately he’s actually sun. crazy how that works out

What a year it's been in the game show world, eh?
Genius Game came to ITV... and promptly left ITV.
99 to Beat was another one-series wonder on ITV.
The Traitors was the biggest thing on television.
Destination X annoyed us, but proved reasonably popular.
Tom Daley wowed us with his wardrobe, both on The Celebrity Traitors and Game of Wool.
Celebrity Puzzling, Y Deis, and Gladiators impressed us. The 1% Club was completed, and there were series of Chess Masters and Win Win and The Inner Circle.
All this, and the winners of shows, in the Week of the Year.
