actually not to be insane but i wish the pwhl had existed when i was a teenager. i loved hockey in high school but i never got to see women play until after i graduated, with the olympics in 2018, because i grew up in the southeastern us where hockey just isn't very accessible. the culture of women's hockey is just so much more open and accepting and positive. i still have my wash caps shirts and socks but 17yo me would have loved to see women on the ice, and celebrated on the ice, in the way they are now. but as sad as i am to have missed out on that, i am so happy for all the girls who get to grow up with the pwhl.
