"Someone told me you took a sudden interest in astronomy."
So, in a bid to keep any other potential kidnappers off his trail, you can now find Artemis over at geniusmudboy!
But, before you go hounding him, I should fill you guys in on what has happened these past few days:
-Any apparent hacking of Foaly's system was not Artemis, but Spiro's people.
-Artemis is officially off the People's list of wanted criminals. Again.
-Artemis and I are on good terms, even if I have only spoken to him briefly since he got out of the Spiro Needle siege. He's a little wiped still so don't pester him too much, please. I have of course apologised for calling him a number of unpleasant words on his voicemail, and explained why such words were said.
-The siege came to an end when Retrieval One finally managed to storm the Needle. There were no serious casualties, although Trubs has some nasty bruising and is out of magic until he has time for a Ritual. Spiro is in fairy custody at the moment, while all of his cronies have been mindwiped.
I think that's about it- play nice, my lovely followers!

This weekend, though, hopefully?
To everyone else pleaseeee hang in there. Or not. You really don't have to- you've all be so brilliantly brilliant so far. Thank you for everything and hopefully you'll see some replies by Sunday!
Vampires Are Real [ Artemis Fowl / Darren Shan ]
Ireland wasn't a place Darren often visited. To be honest, the last time he journeyed to the island nation was back before his life as a vampire began. He and his family visited for a week when he was ten. Quite honestly it was a rather dull vacation. His parents had been more into seeing the sights and visiting historical landmarks than he was. Darren spent most his time finding postcards and sending them off to Steve and the others. Though he did manage to glimpse a few interesting spiders at a museum his parents brought him to.
Fond memories were not the reason he chose to visit. Quite honestly his reasons were still just as valid. The Cirque du Freak was touring. Darren had hoped to find them and pop in for a visit. Unfortunately, he wasn't as good at finding Mr Tall as his mentor, so locating the Cirque was proving to be a bit of a challenge. Still, the stubborn Prince chose not to give up.
He decided to take up camp by a river's edge. A small stone outcrop offered enough cover for the male to make himself comfortable. His plan was to rest during the day and resume his nightly travels. Soon enough though he would have to feed. Especially if he ran into trouble somehow. Looking out over the river, under the full moon light was quite the view. To amuse himself the young man picked a few acorns off a nearby tree and casually attempted to skip them across the stream.
Darren turned his head slightly at the sound of movement. His body immediately tensed. How in the hell would he explain himself being in the middle of nowhere with only a small bag in hand? Looking down he took notice of how shabby his clothes were. Perhaps saying he was simply backpacking across Ireland would work.
There was the chance that the source could be a hunter though. Darren crouched down, pretending to tie his shoes. For now, he'd act as if he hadn't quite noticed.
