I haven’t been active in the GL fandom for more than a week and I’m already so sick of the complete lack of media literacy, especially when it comes to Hetch. Most of the stuff I keep seeing that is Hetch content is just one-dimensional and him being evil for the sake of being The Villain of the story.

Make him jealous that Ranboo gets to be The Hero.

Take it further and make him really just enjoy the game of fucking with his victim until it’s time for an ultimate decision to be made.

Make him just be another pawn under Showfall’s control in the end. Make him have to had tried his best to get Ranboo out only to have to watch as he can’t control himself sighing off his option to live.

Or just make more escape ending where Hetch gets to join in too.

Please, I just beg of you stop making Hetch art boring one beat shit just to add more to Ranboo’s story. PLEASE give my guy some love too, he can be such an interesting character to analyze.

I have another complaint and it’s directed at people who draw/write Ranboo being helpless and scared and pathetic.

Honestly, did you learn nothing from DSMP about him having 3-dimensional characters? This is the same thing that pissed me off back then. Please just look at EP 3. He was scared because who wouldn’t be in that situation?? But they were still determined to get out and showed an ability to be ruthless while still being compassionate and competent.

Even in the first two episodes he still had the name bite to him- just not to as serious as a degree since those episodes weren’t supposed to appear serious.

I’m not even saying to turn him into some cold blooded killer or someone who only cares about escape. Just for the love of god stop making them so one dimensional and pathetic. It pissed me off with DSMP and it pisses me off now.

Little ramble below.

My original idea was a short animatic that I may still do that featuring Hetch to this part of the song:

It was going to be more in-line with canon and the general perception of Hetch, or maybe just him being extra envious that he spent so long with Showfall only for some random fucking guy to get the title of The Hero.

I like how this turned out more though. I love the idea of Hetch and Ranboo just getting to be two powerhouses forcing their way out of the facility. (Spoiler; in this au Hetch doesn’t escape. Smile.)

Here’s some unfinished comic pages.. I did want to make an actual story out of the escape/apocalypse au I have going on but I very quickly realized I prefer to just talk about my ideas without the fear of “spoilers” or my motivation dying out before I can even say what I wanted to.

That being said; asks are open for all of my aus and just for me in general. I’ll respond to all of them so long as i can give a good answer or draw something for it.

Hello Genloss fans. Getting a little rain check here!

I want to make a sort of multi-artist comic based on the events of TSE/Founders cut. PLEASE interact with this post if you may be interested and Ill set up some discord server for it if theres enough.

Below is also a poll to decide which direction to go with deciding who gets what parts;

Option 1 would be me going through and writing out a script (probably from founders cut rather than tse) then putting it into parts for people to pick. More strict and reminiscent of a multi animator project script. I would also more than likely not include many parts that arent lore important… for my own sanity

Option 2 would be me dividing TSE into certain scenes and letting people pick their favorite parts from whatever scene they choose to draw. EVERY scene wouldnt be required to get taken, but lore important bits would :)
