Rejoinder of my friend Brig Khalid Umar, brother of Governor Sindh Zubair on his recent statement to the media about #GenRaheel Well done Brig Khalid. Oh Zubair you are shameless, utterly shameless! Your hatred of Pakistan Army started the day you were rejected in Army selection process. You said 100% credit of Karachi operation goes to Nawaz Sharif. General Raheel is an ordinary man and an ordinary general. Peace returned to Karachi after 23 years as a result of operation started by the bold decision of General Raheel Shareef and Pakistan Army, Rangers. All credit therefore goes to them and no one else. General Raheel Shareef was the Best Army Chief produced by Pakistan Army since Independence. He was highly respected in China, US, UK, Russia and other countries. The closer emerging ties with Russia is the direct result of General Raheel's visits to Russia and visits of Russian Army Chief too Pakistan. No other Army Chief had so rapidly visited forward troops during Operations in FATA, along LOC and elsewhere as did General Raheel Shareef. Day in day out he used to leave early morning for the far flung areas. His stamina and dedication was baffling. He exuded an air of confidence, shook hands with Officers and Jawans in each and every visit. Pakistan Army, Pakistani nation loved and admired him. He totally outclassed Indian Army Chief General Sihag. He met senior most officials of arrogant US with ease and confidence. Khalid Umar 7 April 2017
