Muestra gratitud ante los servicios más mínimos y tolerancia hacia quienes hacen mal las cosas. Acepta a las personas molestas; en especial, a los pequeños ruidosos e hiperactivos, ya que la bondad hacia los niños es lo que más caracteriza a una persona buena y mansa. Es delicadeza ante la provocación; y silencio o calma ante palabras desagradables.  Jesús es «manso y humilde de corazón» (Mateo 11:29). Si se lo pedimos, Él nos transformará a su imagen. George MacDonald dice: «[Dios] no escucharía de [nosotros] un tono que agite el corazón de otra persona, una palabra que le duela […]. De este, como de todo otro pecado, Jesús nació para liberarnos».  Señor, ayúdame a ser manso, amable y bondadoso.  Ser humildes ante Dios nos hará mansos para con los demás. #OurDailyBread Gentleness "Be completely humble and gentle." (Ephesians 4:2) Gentleness is a willingness to accept limitations and ailments without taking out our aggravation on others. It shows gratitude for the smallest service rendered and tolerance for those who do not serve us well. It puts up with bothersome people—especially noisy, boisterous little people; for kindness to children is a crowning mark of a good and gentle person. It speaks softly in the face of provocation. It can be silent; for calm, unruffled silence is often the most eloquent response to unkind words. Jesus is “gentle and humble in heart” (Matt. 11:29). If we ask Him, He will, in time, recreate us in His image. Scottish author George MacDonald says, “[God] would not hear from [us] a tone to jar the heart of another, a word to make it ache . . . . From such, as from all other sins, Jesus was born to deliver us.” Dear Lord, I want to be a gentle person. Please help me to be kind and gracious to others today. BIBLE MEDITATION: “. . . even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.” 1 Peter 3:4b DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT: Are you a woman struggling with the way you look? We all know that women want to be beautiful, especially to their husbands and boyfriends, but so often women think that beauty is found at a cosmetics counter, on a dress rack, or in a jewelry box. Those things are corruptible, and what’s in vogue today is out of fashion when next year’s supermodels hit the runway. The only thing that will make you more beautiful, day after day, is what you nurture within yourself - serenity. The ornament of a meek and a quiet spirit is worth far more than even the most expensive jewel you can wear around your neck. ACTION POINT: Stand in front of the mirror today. Imagine Jesus by your side, and ask Him to create in you a gentle and quiet spirit of love.
