a really good meme╱ tears, but reversed so: my muse wiping away your muse’s tears

         ❝hey, ⏤its okay.❞ practically springing to action, vic scooted to be closer to threnn, appearing somewhat twitchy, unsure how exactly to help or comfort them. he wanted to do it right, be properly helpful, but he feared being too clumsy, or somehow making whatever was wrong worse. seeing threnn cry was unpleasant ⏤ seeing them in any form of upset was unpleasant, actually. he rather enjoyed their presence ; and wanted them to be happy, not reduced to tears. he’d never even seen them cry before, which made it all the more alarming ; whatever troubled them must have been truly terrible. if he could ease their pain in any way, he would. he would try, at least. reaching forward, he used his coat sleeves to brush their tears away, pulling them into a tight hug once he was done.

           comforting others was a mystery to him. but he knew what helped him, and put that to use. he held them close against his shoulder, resting his chin against the top of their head, one hand softly petting their hair, the other near their face, occupied with wiping away more tears if they fell. ❝cry all you need, yeah ? i’m … i’m right here for you.❞ and he would be, for as long as they needed, as long as he helped.
