Based on @chipsncookies ‘s vamp Ingo drawing and some 4am convo we had. Emmet is a human, and he tries v hard to help his vampire brother :>

Some pic info: 1) two of them… 2) Ingo usually gets blood from blood packs (for ethical and sanitary reasons) but sooometimes he doesn’t bring quite enough to get him through a hard day at work, so Emmet let’s him have a little nibble on his wrist to get him home without turning to ash or accidentally biting a stranger. Think of it as “here’s a Tylenol for your migraine, you can lay down when we get home”. He doesn’t mind :> 3) & 4) Emmet was fetching Ingo his lunch from the fridge but…someone left a bucket around a blind corner and he tripped and fell and the blood pack exploded on him :’))) Ingo had a mini heart attack bc “IS THAT YOUR BLOOD OH MY ARCEUS ARE YOU OKAY EMMET” rip to Emmet’s white outfit 4) pocket sized vamp Ingo…what will he do

favorite thing about them: those ripped tree trunk s🦵 🦵🦵 ..... haha I also like that he's quite small, it makes him seem approachable.

least favorite thing about them: not much

favorite line: "Hustle, hustle, hustle (player)! You can do it, you can do it Kabu! ...sorry." Do not ever apologize, you absolute hype beast.

brOTP: canon milo, nessa, kabu brot3 is quite cute. Kabu's enthusiasm and shonen hero-like disposition makes it easy to relate to him. He's the encouraging and supportive type so I can see the two younger ones being easily motivated into giving their best. Also, Kabu isn't too far out of their league in terms of strength and the fact that he's still there yet still going strong, doing his best.. it can be motivational for both the new and old crowd!

OTP: didn't really have one until peony showed up. but even still, I like them as friendly rivals who enjoy a good battle or a good ribbing at each other.

nOTP: no strong feelings for anything in particular

random headcanon: a little disconnected and completely hc-based, but I like to think both Kabu and Opal were quietly aware of Piers' (unfortunate) situation. They both coordinated to help the kid out during his gym challenge and subtly/secretly lent him a helping hand here and there.

Another more likely random hc is that Kabu always varies up his jogging route and never takes the same consecutive route. So anyone can randomly encounter him in the wild area, and often. You could be camping, training, fighting for your life, sight-seeing or whatever, there will always be a chance you bump into a sweaty older gent in red on his daily leisurely run. He'll always give a wave of acknowledgement. In fact, he's probably reached attraction status of the Motostoke wilds. (Much like how piers is an attraction in Spikemuth)

Hello, sorry for asking weird questions, but do you know anyone who's knowledgeable in buddhism (and possibly hinduism)?

i don’t know about induism, @ rinboz is an ex buddhist. they studied theravada, while hnk is based on mahayana buddhism, so read their disclaimers. they wrote a bunch of posts explaining buddhist themes in the story and i find all of those very neat

There is a part in pokespe were Giovanni saves Silver from a fire, and after that, he stays with Silver’s Usaring while he recovers from his injuries... or something like that, i dont remember that well, but this is a headcanon from that part
