I'm Just Admiring Your Door [@ Nori]
Nori was just about to leave the house for the day. She hadn’t been to the tea house in a long while and decided it was a good day to treat herself. She was dressed in a white and pink yukata, accented with blush pink sakura flowers. She always liked to get dressed up when she went out, even if it was just for some tea and something small to eat.
She heard the knock on the door, and without a word, grabbed her small hand purse and slipped on her shoes before opening the door to see Dirasu standing on the other side of the door. Her eyes widened, surprised to see the tall male standing in front of her. Didn’t he live far from here? Perhaps he had business with her.
“Ahhh.." She muttered out, unsure of what to say. "Hello, Mr. Dirasu," she said, bowing afterwards. "Is there something I can help you with?"
"A-Ah, Ms. Nori, I was just ..." there were a few options with what he could say-- he could go with the ol' I was in the neighborhood [which was a bit ridiculous given that he lived rather far away], stick with the pumpkin plan and question her about why they were changing colors [they normally didn't do that, right], or he could even say-- "I was just admiring the fine craftsmanship of your door, very, very fine wood work indeed ..."
He felt like punching himself in the face, 'admiring her door', she probably thought you were weird enough with the tail and ears but this was a whole new level. Swallowing, he grinned awkwardly at her before knocking lightly on the door's surface, "ah yes, the echo of a fine mahogany door, m-music to my ears, heh ..."
Dirasu's ears wilted, a surge of pink going to his cheeks as he was quite obviously-- thoroughly embarrassed but he still found it in him to smile at her.
