—“It was your brother, wasn’t it?”
Sickening laughter echoed within the walls of the Absolutely Safe Capsule, made only more uncomfortable by the intense coughing fit that followed. He should have sounded like he was on death’s door, but despite those wheezing breaths, only barely getting fresh air into his lungs, he took clear, energetic delight in this conversation.
“I can see the resemblance. At least, I could, up until we dissected it.” A quieter giggle sounded off before Porky gasped for his next breath. “It barely looks human now, wouldn’t you say? It sure doesn’t act like it! Ahahaha!”
The laughter got worse. Porky got so into it that the Capsule began rocking back and forth with his own movements, the metal rolling around accompanied by the sound of his machine rattling around inside of it. Had it ever gotten its energy back? After a moment of quite literally rolling with laughter, the Capsule steadied itself once again.
“It’s much better this way. That thing was so much better as a puppet. Honestly, I’m surprised you’d want your stupid weak brother back at all.”
