For real, though, I’ve been planning on a Gentress fic that’s really well-thought-out and puts the two in a believable relationship and takes its time and doesn’t freaking rush because rushed fics are the worst

I just don’t know when the frick-frack-snick-snack I’ll actually write it but I’ve been having ideas swirling in my head for like the past year.

Gentress Headcanon sleep

Despite the fact that Grievous gets pretty much two hours of sleep at the most each night, he’s still pretty formal and sleeps in a dignified position.

Meanwhile Ventress pretty much just crashes wherever she’ll fit, usually with at least one limb splayed out to the side. People have tripped over her when Dooku’s had guests over. And every time he’s just: “Ventress, damn it, you have your own room, fucking sleep in there.”

Grievous: I’m a bit rusty, both literally and metaphorically...but hopefully it’s to your liking.

Ventress: *nervous sip, accompanied by long awkward silence*

Grievous: How is it?

Ventress: To be honest...

Grievous: Yes?

Ventress: I just burned my tongue so fucking badly.

Imagine Ventress trying to "tame” Grievous and just basically undo all the shit the CIS has done to him and being close to a breakthrough when some little thing sets him off and he just starts fucking losing it. And Ventress just sighs, massages her forehead, and sits down somewhere.

And once he pauses, probably breathing heavily and coughing kinda awfully because of that, She just says with unmatched sass "Are you done?" which pisses him off even more so she's just kind of stuck there the whole day because she keeps fucking it up every time she makes progress. Bonus: fully-verbal fighting involving fucktons of sass from both sides

Gentress thing

I actually sometimes refer to the General Grievous x Asajj Ventress ship as “Dooku’s pet cat and ferret”. 

Grievous is basically a cat, he hates everyone and everything and has those goddamn eyes.

Meanwhile look at how long Ventress is feature-wise. Long neck, long face, long arms, long legs...this bitch is a ferret. She’d probably get stuck if she tried to crawl into a paper towel tube.

If JohnLock is allowed to portray its members as small animals, then so is every other ship out there.
