i was TRYING to work out my designs for the gang but i ended up just drawing this and leaving it for a week or so lmao

So, wanna infodump on Lovebug and/or Arid Au?
YES I ABSOLUTELY DO,,,,
ok so arid is actually in a fic right now! shadows of envy, 4/6 chapters up right now :0 it’s one of four evil kai aus i have, and arid is possibly one of my favorite concepts of the four!
basically kai get salty at his team one night, as he usually does, and he goes out into the woods and, somehow, his shadow comes to life and switches places with him. so now he has to get his body back from his shadow, which is basically him but with no remorse and no filter over his thoughts. hijinks and arson ensues
as for lovebug, they’re a bit of a newer au, loosely based off y2kvr (pleeaaaaase go check it out if youre into hlvrai its so good). [ns12 spoilers] shortly after leaving prime empire, the world begins to get infected with a sort of “lovebug,” which causes everyone to act lovey dovey and basically throws the world into havoc bc ppl just wanna love and not do their job
this is a fanseason somewhat set in my au/rewrite, and cole can’t actually get sick bc he’s a revenant and can’t die (like i said, au nonsense). so while he and the ninja are trying to not get sick, they find out that jay is both patient 0 and the virus itself, as it latched itself onto jay as he left prime empire. and it isnt like jays possessed by anything, the virus implanted itself onto jay causing him to think and act like a virus - only thinking about spreading itself to everyone
eventually when cole and lovebug are the only ones left, lovebug is forced to decide whether to live in this world or help cole bring it all back, and he chooses to do the latter in the end. they start restoring the world and also figure out how to separate lovebug and jay. so now jay has a little ai helper on his phone that can merge with him at any point, kinda like a symbiotic relationship
