[for the fic thingie] Nishinoya+Tanaka, brotp or pairing, whatever is most comfortable for you, I'm not picky. One of them never wears underwear.

"Wait... never?" Ryuu asks, blinking at Nishinoya. They're the only ones left in the club room, and his best friend is going commando--and apparently always has been.

"Never," Nishinoya says, looking completely unperturbed. "You never noticed?"

"I--" Ryuu trails off. In his defense, he's not in the habit of staring at people's junk in the dressing room, is he? He'd only asked Nishinoya if he'd forgotten his underwear because he had an extra pair of boxers he could lend him if he had--but apparently Nishinoya never wore underwear. Which means Nishinoya is completely bare under those track trousers.

"Um," Ryuu says. "Isn't that kinda... kinky?"

Nishinoya's brows lift. "You think?"

Ryuu opens his mouth, and suddenly the atmosphere shifts. He notices that they're standing very close, which is a very weird thing to notice all of a sudden, and he realizes that if he says he thinks it's kinky it'll mean one thing, and if he says he thinks it's not kinky it'll mean another, and he's not sure which one of those things to say at all.

"Uh," he says, feeling his face heat up. As the silence stretches, Nishinoya's face begins to turn pink, too, his eyes widening.

"Uh, anyway," Ryuu tries again.

"Anyway!" Nishinoya agrees, and slaps his shoulder. Ryuu jumps a little, and follows Nishinoya as he heads out of the clubroom.

"Good practice, right?" Nishinoya says as they walk out the door. Ryuu takes a deep, calming breath.

"Yeah!" he says, and he sounds almost normal. "Good practice!"

and like realizing that not being the best at something doesn't mean effort put into that skill is wasted

I mean I may be reading too much into the flavor of these noodles but

there was definitely a hint of all those things

I do so much outlining and planning it’s fucking ridiculous. I’m pretty sure for my one (ONE) fanfic alone there’s close to 50 some odd pages of handwritten notes, and I have literally 2 notebooks filled for my original work. Its disgusting.

Ahhh, I can't handle reading angsty stuff either! I can only just bear to write it because I have headcanons and ideas and I know I'm not going to torture the characters any... but as I said, I wasn't clever enough to turn that prompt into something non-angsty. :'D Curse youuu, inside-box-thinking! According to translators it's not QUITE as bad as we think... The next volume clears things up and I guess Oikawa didn't lay hands on Hinata? Or something. But his thing with Kageyama was still hella messed and dubcon and an abuse of power.

Yeah, I heard something like that too... Either way it's still sickening, plus character assassination. To even let someone who obviously loves someone else THINK the person they love has been hurt in that way just... makes me all sorts of upset. Plus the coercion, like you mentioned. I am a peach inside and out and everything about me bruises easily.

I once read a Midorima/Takao from KNB doujinshi that literally kept me from sleeping for three nights after I read it and I still go back and read it sometimes and cry like a bitch over it so I feel your pain
