Geometry notebook for homeschooling

I live in a rural area and so many families are not able to access online/virtual learning due to limited/no internet access and not owning computers at home. I’ve been making a geometry notebook for one of my friends to give to her child as she’s not able to help him with secondary-level math.

I’m including math quotes throughout the notebook just to make it more exciting. Notes will go on the right-hand pages, and on the left I’m going to glue in foldables/graphs so the kiddos can practice graphing/drawing shapes.

I really love doing stuff like this. I get to help more kids get excited about math, and also use some of my art supplies.^^

So far school as been really enjoyable, I like the people in my classes and the things we do. I’m especially enjoying all this note taking time! But my pen is on the verge of death but let’s hope I can get through my next two classes 🙏

I actually got a lot done today. I finished a screen play for creative writing which I didn't think I had worked on enough this past week to finish in time. I worked on this project with another writer in my class and I know for sure if I had had to do both this chart and the the shot by shot full descriptions I would not have finished this project.

Not only did I complete my screenplay, I also took a lot of notes for geometry and finished some of the homework. Homework in geometry has been a real struggle area for me. I find math comes naturally to me most of the time and so I never find the motivation to do homework because I don't need the extra practice for the tests.

On top of these two assignments, I have been working on presentations for my school's art club banquet this Thursday and slowly making my way through notes and missing assignments in AP Euro. All of this to say finals have descended, there are three weeks left and I've become such a busy bee!!

Wishing all of you good luck on your finals! Time for me to go to sleep😴

Personally my family doesn’t really celebrate the religious part of Easter but we still have get together parties so I was there yesterday. Family from out of state were there and it went okay but kind of awkward lol.
