Next day in Glimmerbrook.
Danielle hadn't slept well and had woken up early. Something told her that something horrible had happened.
She took advantage of the peace and quiet in the house on this Saturday morning to train her magical abilities. Because in addition to the crystals, she would have to be ready to protect herself and her loved ones.
Never again did she want to feel helpless and at the mercy of others.
A little later, she traveled to the realm of magic to continue learning. She met her cousin George.
Danielle: "Hello, up so early?"
George laughed arrogantly: "I haven't been to bed yet. Sleeping is for wimps."
Danielle: "If you think so."
George: "Well, how are things going with Grandpa? Will he soon give up the spoon? It's about time."
Danielle looked at him in shock. How could he say such a thing?
George: "Wow, don't look at me so stupidly. It's true. The old man has been living longer than he should. Dad is already going crazy because of it."
Danielle: "Your dad might want to pull himself together a bit. People are already talking about him."
George: "Envious sycophants. And cousin, don't forget, Dad is the next Viscount. The head of the family."
Danielle: "Together with Aunt Clementine."
George laughed viciously again. "She's just a woman. I won't let her tell me anything."
Danielle shook her head in disbelief. "You and your father are totally crazy."
George overwhelmed the anger and attacked Danielle with a spell. She countered it without hesitation.
Benjamin received a call from his grandson Edward. "Hello my boy, it's nice that you're calling. How are you?"
Edward: Grandpa, I'm fine. But Grace is gone!"
Benjamin: "What do you mean by gone?"
Edward: "No one has seen her since yesterday morning. She has disappeared and doesn't answer her cell phone either. I'm worried about her, it doesn't look like her. Something must have happened."
Benjamin closed his eyes and tried to sort out his thoughts. A dark premonition rose in him. "It's good that you called me. I'm going to take care of Grace now. Don't worry, we'll find them."
Edward: "Thank you, Grandpa."
Benjamin: "Alden knows about it. Has he done anything yet?"
Edward: "Dad's not here. I don't think he noticed."
Benjamin sighed heavily. "What about your mother. Could she have gone to her?"
Edward: "I don't know. I ask."
Benjamin: "And I'll let Clementine and Bishop know. We will find her and bring her back."
