pictured below are helictites, rather sizeable ones at that. Helictites are one of the rarer cave formations, and helictites of this size and color (mostly white), are even more exceptional. They're made up of aragonite and while the exact cause of their unique formation is unknown, wind (airflow, yes, caves have airflow/wind!!) and capillary forces certainly greatly facilitate their formation. Some say bacteria may also influence their formation, but even the PhD who wrote that paper (shout-out George) thinks it's dubious and needs further research.

Devils Tower was the United States' 1st designated national monument, established on September 24, 1906, by President Theodore Roosevelt in northeastern Wyoming. Devils Tower rises 1,267 feet above the Belle Fourche River & stands 867 feet from summit to base. Devils Tower is a unique geologic wonder, in modern-day it is a national park and climbers' challenge.
