Alright, time for the last refs! Meet Shuren! He appears later down the line in the story, but he's just as important as other characters!
Shuren is an independent commissionee and researcher from Liyue. He's known for accepting and completing a variety of requests from all across the nation. During his career, he made quite the reputation for himself and the people of Liyue perceive him as reliable and trustworthy. Shuren spends a lot of time traveling across the nation and takes his job very seriously. In fact, he often tends to put it over everything else.
During his working hours, Shuren may come across as harsh, but straightforward. He doesn't like dealing with hagglers or indecisive people; however, he does not lose his temper and tries to remain as calm and patient as possible. Despite not having much issues with business conversations, Shuren struggles to talk with others in an informal manner while he's not working. It's difficult for him to express his emotions and form deep bonds with people. He sometimes has trouble understanding others, what causes awkward interactions. Despite that, he's a kind-hearted individual and deeply cares for those whom he values. Shuren does not consider himself a fighter, but he will not hesitate to use or threaten violence if he finds himself in a dire situation.
And here's his geovishap companion, Eraihime! She's come quite a long way since early 2022 when she was first created and every year, she looks less and less like the in-game geovishap (I don't mind though)
Eraihime is a tame Geovishap traveling with Shuren. As she accompanies him during his job, the people of Liyue have become more familiar with her over the years.
Despite the assumptions that she's intimidating and dangerous, Eraihime is rather calm for her species. She's a patient creature, capable to withstand many minor annoyances. She doesn't mind the presence of people around her, but she may become irritated or startled when a stranger gets too close. She's not very social and prefers to stay around the ones she trusts and knows well. To those who she values, she's a benevolent, caring creature, ready to protect them with her own life.
