You know that moment when nothing feels real? Like you suddenly dissociate and your soul leaves your body, it feels unreal, and terrifying.

That’s exactly how it feels when my mind drifts far away before I spiral into a breakdown of thoughts. Words hit me like bullets, blowing my head into a thousand pieces, with the same questions as always. What did we do to deserve this? Did God really plan this for us? Or was I a mistake that God crumpled up, threw away, and the devil picked up to make his own version of? Those are the merciless questions I ask myself.

I don’t think God is cruel or anything like that. I’m just an arrogant thinker searching for comfort in other people’s words and thoughts. I deserve every bit of pain directed at me.
