“Have you seen Geralt this morning?”
“Who?” the man asked, perplexed.
“Geralt, the witcher,” Jaskier elaborated.
“We haven’t seen any witchers,” the man looked genuinely puzzled.
“I arrived with him yesterday. He took care of your nekker problem.”
“Nekker problem?” Was the man daft? “It was just you who came in yesterday. With your horse. Are you feeling alright, Master Bard?” The man had the audacity to look at Jaskier as if he was the mad one.
When Geralt disappears after an argument, no one in the small village they’re in seems to remember him. Except Jaskier and an old woman with a chilling secret.
Someone always disappears at this time of year, and no one remembers they ever existed in the morning. The Fair Folk steal them away and they are never seen again.
Until now. Jaskier refuses to leave Geralt to his fate. He will get him back. My entry for the @geraskiermidsummerminibang. This is my first time taking part in something like this, and it has been an amazing experience, so a huge thank you to the hardworking organisers.
And an especially huge thank you to my amazing artist @help-idontknowwhattodraw. The art you created for this is simply stunning and I’m so happy we finally get to share our collaboration
